Kate Huston
Kate Huston currently serves as the Lay Minister for Lifelong Formation at Saint Paul’s Cathedral in Oklahoma City, where she is responsible for developing and implementing formation programming for all ages. Kate is passionate about finding ways to deeply connect people to our call in the Baptismal Covenant through ministry and liturgy. A born and bred “Okie” Kate is a graduate of The University of Oklahoma where she did both her undergraduate and graduate degrees. She also currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Political Science at Oklahoma City University where she teaches courses in American Government including civil rights and civil liberties, the American Presidency, and public policy. A member of the 2015 cohort of the Certificate Program in Leadership for Lifelong Christian Formation, Kate was inspired to find innovative ways to connect social science and Formation ministry. In her spare time, you will either find Kate in the kitchen, cooking with her husband, Greg, and their four-year-old daughter, Brigid or curled up by the fire with a good book.
