2025 Forma Conference

Locations
The entire conference will stream through Zoom. Participants can join us online from anywhere. A variety of onsite locations will also be available for those who wish to participate in the conference in community. More information on onsite locations coming soon.
Theme
Our theme for 2025, Come Away Together (Retirémonos Juntos) comes from Mark 6:31-32: "‘Come away to a deserted place all by yourselves and rest a while.’ ...And they went away in the boat to a deserted place by themselves." (NRSVA). Our plenaries will explore themes of rest, retreat, and Sabbath.
Spanish Interpretation
The entire conference will include simultaneous Spanish interpretation through Zoom. Recordings will only be available in English.

The conference will take place for 3.5 hours each day

Tema
Nuestro tema para 2025, Retirémonos Juntos, (Come Away Together) viene de Marcos 6:31-32: “’Venid vosotros solos a un lugar desierto y descansad un poco.’… Y se fueron en la barca a un lugar desierto por sí mismos.” (NRSVA) Nuestras plenarias explorarán temas de descanso, retiro y sábado.
Interpretación en español

Book Club: Rest is Resistance
This year the conference planning team will lead a three-week book study on Rest Is Resistance: A Manifesto by Tricia Hersey. All are welcome to join. A reading schedule is below, but you are welcome even if you do not read the book and you do not have to be a Forma member. Registration is required.
