Bill Campbell Brief Bio
Bill Campbell was hired by the board in August of 2016. He came from Virginia Theological Seminary where he served as the Director of the Annual Fund. He spent five years working as the Director of Christian Education at St. Paul’s in Alexandria, VA and two years as a Youth Ministry Intern at St. Stephen’s in Richmond, VA. Bill also spent one year living in community at Richmond Hill, an ecumenical retreat center focused on social justice and praying for the city of Richmond. Before that, Bill was a volunteer in the Diocese of Georgia and worked as a chef in restaurants across the Southeast.
Bill is a level one trained Catechist for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and is certified in Godly Play. He has completed the training for Journey to Adulthood (J2A) and Rite 13 as well as experience with Workshop Rotation Model (WoRM) and “build-your-own” youth programs. He enjoys fundraising for important causes and is committed to an improved future for The Episcopal Church and Christian Formation.
